Arnaud Ventura is currently Vice President of PlaNet Finance & President & CEO of MicroCred. Arnaud co-founded and run PlaNet Finance as its CEO from 1998 to 2005.
Arnaud founded MicroCred in 2005 and served as President & CEO of the organization. As CEO of PlaNet Finance, Arnaud led the development of PlaNet Finance from a modest provider of microfinance services with a yearly budget of 500 KUSD in 1999 to a diversified microfinance group with a TA budget of over 15 MUSD in 2008. Today, Planet Finance offers consulting and technical assistance, microfinance institution rating services through Planet Rating, and fund management and advisory services in microfinance through PlaNIS. The organization also includes a venture capital company serving vulnerable urban neighborhoods in France, FinanCités, and PlaNet Guarantee, a microinsurance provider. By the end of 2008, Planet Finance Group had grown to over 700 staff in about 40 countries, working with more than 200 microfinance institutions through the provision of technical assistance, rating, financial support, and other services. The Technical Assistance Budget was over 15 MUSD, PlaNet Rating revenues were about 1,5 MUSD; PlaNIS portfolio of microfinance investment reached above 150 MUSD.Before co-founding PlaNet Finance, Arnaud worked for BNP Paribas in France and then in Argentina from 1995 till 1998. Prior to that, Arnaud participated in the creation of two leading Internet service providers in France and in Thailand (1993 – 1995).

Ms. Isabelle Levard joined MicroCred in January 2007 as Strategy and Planning Manager and she was promoted Deputy CEO in December 2008.
Before joining MicroCred, Ms. Levard was a rating manager with PlaNet Rating for 3 years. In that capacity, she conducted more than 50 rating and training missions throughout Africa, Latin America, Middle East and Eastern Europe. She was deeply involved in the Planet Rating’s spin-off process leveraging her experience/knowledge of French corporate laws and fundraising.
Before working for PlaNet Rating, Ms. Levard worked in venture capital in London and Paris.
Ms. Levard holds an International Relations Degree from the Paris – Dauphine University, and she speaks French, English and Spanish fluently.

Laurent Hiller joined MicroCred in August 2007 to be in charge of the financial control of the holding and its subsidiaries and their consolidation under IFRS as well.
After a work experience at the French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement - AFD) in Benin, Laurent worked four years as an external auditor for KPMG (Financial Department). He then joined the internal audit team of a Calyon’ subsidiary specialized in the import/export financing. Among his different missions, he had the opportunity to audit several branches in Asia. From 2006, he was member of a team dedicated to accounting missions at the BNP Paribas General Inspection.
Laurent graduated from Reims Management School with a specialization in finance.

Since April 2009, Pauline Ecorcheville is Audit and Group Performance Officer at MicroCred Holding. Pauline joined MicroCred in April 2007 as Deputy CFO with MicroCred Mexico before being promoted CFO in February 2008. Before joining MicroCred, Pauline worked for PlaNet Finance Investment Services as Investment Officer. Before joining PlaNet Finance Group, she had previous field experience in Madagascar and Ethiopia where she contributed to the improvement of accounting, management and credit proceedings for MFIs and Savings and Credit Cooperatives.
Pauline Ecorcheville holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree from Paris Dauphine and La Sorbonne Universities.

Anne Laure Deparis joined MicroCred in January, 2010 to assist the financial director and in charge of the accounting of MicroCred.
Anne Laure acquired his experiment as accounting (countable) assistant in accounting office and in company at the conclusion of these school training courses.
Anne laure is a holder of a Bachelor's degree Purchase and Supply of the University of Paris-XII, as well as the diploma of DUT (TWO-YEAR TECHNICAL DEGREE) GEA OPTION finances accounting (Iut Calais). She is specialized in Accounting, Management of Companies and Finance.
Anne laure speaks English fluently, French and has notions in Spanish, German and Italian.

Zoran Novakovic is expert in Management Information Systems (MIS). He joined MicroCred Nigeria in April 2009 as MIS Implementation / Reporting Expert.
Zoran gained 11 years work experience in the microfinance sector. He held, among others, a position as System Consultant for one of most successful microfinance software vendors, Technical Development Solutions (USA) for last three years. He was freelance Consultant in microfinance, specialized in implementation of MIS systems, training and consulting from 2006 to 2009. During this period he successfully delivered services for TDS (USA), Microfinance Center (Poland) and TBC Bank (Azerbaijan) in Bosnia Herzegovina, Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Philippines, Malawi.
Zoran is a Professional Teacher from the Belgrade University, Serbia. He also has High School diploma in accounting, Microsoft Certified courses for Solution Development, and training for Adult Learning delivered by Microfinance Center (MFC), Poland
Zoran speaks fluent Serbian, English and posses basic knowledge of Russian language.

Expert in Human Resources Management, Maria Faouzi joined MicroCred in October 2006 to assist MicroCred’s Chief Financial Officer in developing a Human Resources department. She is now at the head of the department that she set up.
Prior to joining MicroCred, Maria worked for Club Méditerranée as assistant to the Human Resources Manager in Morocco before becoming training assistant for Club Méditerranée’s University of talents in Paris.
Maria holds a Professional Master Degree in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Social Management in Paris.

Bodo Lieberam, joined MicroCred Holding in October 2005 as Operations Manager prior to being CEO of MicroCred Mexico in April 2007 to March 2009. Since March 2009, Bodo is Senior Operations Expert at MicroCred Holding and a member of the Board of MicroCred Mexico and MicroCred Senegal, closely monitoring the operations of both institutions.
Prior to joining MicroCred, Bodo was General Manager of the successful NovoBanco SARL, Mozambique and President & CEO at Micro Enterprise Bank, Philippines. Before that, he served as a consultant for the opening of a new microfinance bank in Macedonia and was a Branch Manager of FEFAD Bank (now ProCredit Bank) in Albania which was the first branch of a private bank in the North of Albania that reached profitability after one year. He completed all these assignments on behalf of Internationale Projekt Consult GmbH, Frankfurt, an institution owned by ProCredit Holding AG, Frankfurt (previously Internationale Micro Investitionen AG).

Jeff D. Ferry joined MicroCred as Senior Operations Manager in January 2007. Mr. Ferry has 15 years of practical international development experience establishing, managing and supporting the development of financial institutions in Africa, Asia, Eurasia and Latin America which serve micro and small clients in developing and transitional economies. From March-October 2007, Mr. Ferry was Project Director of MicroCred Nanchong, the first wholly foreign owned microcredit company in China, and now serves as an advisor to management and a Board member. In January 2009, he was named Project Manager for the establishment of a microfinance bank in Nigeria that will likely begin operating in December.
Prior to joining MicroCred, Mr. Ferry managed microfinance sector support projects in Egypt and the Republic of Georgia to build institutional capacity in leading microfinance providers and banks through the provision of technical assistance and training and improve the enabling environment for microfinance in those countries. In Egypt he worked with policymakers to prepare for a microfinance law and the creation of a national microfinance association. In Georgia he led the successful effort to amend the Civil Code to enable microfinance institutions to legally exist and engage in lending activities.
Before that, Mr. Ferry was Managing Director of a microfinance institution operating in the Samara State of the Russian Federation. Between the years of 2001-2005, it disbursed over 20,000 loans valued at more than EUR 20MM to more than 6,000 micro and small entrepreneurs resulting in the company’s outstanding portfolio increasing more than 25 times and its active client base growing nearly five-fold while maintaining a repayment rate of 98%. The sustained growth was achieved through a combination of the introduction of new products like SME loans and micro leasing, and geographic expansion with the opening of new branches in three states of the Volga Region.

Michel Iams is a senior expert at MicroCred since 1st November 2009. Prior to that, he was the CEO of MicroCred Madagascar (since October 2006) and worked as an independant consulant between September 2004 and September 2006.
Prior to joining MicroCred, Michel was the deputy-head of the Micro-Finance Department of the First Microfinance Bank of Afghanistan. As such he was in charge of human resources management and branch network development. He carried out the feasablilty study and launched the project together with two international experts.
Before taking this position, Michel worked as a consultant in the field of Microfinance with Horus Development Finance and as such completed assignments in 20 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA region and well as in South-East and Central Asia. Prior to that, Michel developed and managed a micro-credit program in Haute-Normandie region (France).
Michel Iams holds a post graduate degree in development economics (from Paris-I Pantheon-Sorbonne University) and a degree (MBA equivalent) from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (French Ivy League). Michel speaks English and French fluently.

Sarah Puzzuoli joined MicroCred since its inception as operating analyst in August 2005. She was appointed Senior Development Officer on November 1st 2006. She was promoted Technical Assistance Manager in August 2007. Based in Paris, Sarah is in charge of the coordination of Technical Assistance.
Prior to joining MicroCred, Sarah Puzzuoli worked in a Bolivian microfinance institution. She was involved in its development and its financial management before joining PlaNet Finance as a Project Officer on the creation of MicroCred. Sarah Puzzuoli started in MicroCred as an Investment Analyst and contributed to several studies among including those undertaken in Mexico, Madagascar and Morocco.
Sarah holds a diploma in management and finance from EICD 3A, and speaks Spanish, English and French fluently.

Mr. Lacombe joined MicroCred in February 2007 as an Operations consultant in Mexico. Following this, Mr. Lacombe served as Deputy COO of Protrabajo, Argentina, for five months, before joining MicroCred Nanchong in December 2007 as an Operations Consultant supporting the COO on various operational aspects. In June 2008 Mr. Lacombe joined MicroCred Holding as a Development Manager, in charge of geographic expansion and alternative channels.
Prior to joining MicroCred, Mr. Lacombe was a Project Manager for Altai Consulting for two years in Afghanistan, where he managed several strategy consulting projects on different aspects of the reconstruction effort. Before that, he was a Development Product Manager for L’Oreal for 2 years. Mr. Lacombe also lived and worked in Spain, Nepal, Indonesia and Sweden.
Mr. Lacombe holds a MBA degree from HEC, Paris, and he speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.

PhD student in strategies of financial inclusion and expert in Microfinance, Habib Attia joined MicroCred as Senior Project Manager in January 2007.
Within the group MicroCred, Habib Attia holds successively different positions as a country development manager and then, as a responsible for international internal audit in charge of the implementation of the internal audit framework within MicroCred Sénégal. Besides and in parallel of its development activities, Habib Attia took in charge the organization, correspondence and standardization function of the procedures of MicroCred Holding and subsidiaries during almost 8 months.
Since July 2008, Habib Attia was called back to MicroCred Holding to support the development activities of the Group particularly in regions MENA and French-speaking Africa countries.
Before this, Habib Attia has been responsible for the prudential control of banks and financial institutions at the banking commission of Algeria during almost 6 years, Habib Attia joined the CGAP since 2006 as a policy advisory consultant in French-speaking Africa's countries and MENA.
Habib Attia holds a high diploma in banking and a master in economic development from CERDI-University of Auvergne. Currently, he is preparing a PhD on financial inclusion strategies. He followed the Boulder programme about the best practices in Microfinance in Turin-Italia

Andrew Levitt is an expert in strategy formulation and project management and delivery within financial services businesses. He joined MicroCred Holding in January 2010 as Strategy Manager in charge of strategy and business planning across the MicroCred businesses, having worked on MicroCred and mBank strategy development over the summer in 2009.
Andrew gained 9 years work experience in the financial services sector in the UK. His experience includes restructuring the 1,000-person claims division of a major UK insurer to successfully reduce the combined operating ratio by 10%, and delivering double-digit growth to the £1bn P&L of a top-4 UK Current Accounts business
Andrew holds an MA (hons) in Mathematics and Philosophy from Oxford University, and an MBA from INSEAD.
Andrew is a native English speaker, and has basic knowledge in French, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

Jean-Paul Bertolas joined MicroCred in 2009 as General Counsel to manage the legal affairs of the French holding company and, in cooperation with local management and local Counsel, to supervise that of the overseas subsidiaries.
A graduate from Université Paris V - René Descartes and from University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA, Jean-Paul worked as a business lawyer for 20 years in US and English law firms in Paris, mainly at Clifford Chance, in their Finance group and Commercial group (contracts, joint ventures, retructurings et commercial negotiations). He subsequently headed the legal team of a property group in Paris.
For long personnally involved with organisations providing help and assistance to the homeless and familiar with domestic microfinance, he has been willing to use his professional skills more in line with his personal ethics.

Since 2002 he is founder of Eclosion LTD, a company that provides a range of services to companies undergoing strategic change.

Arnaud de Lavalette, is a specialist in project management, team leading and fundraising. Arnaud joined PlaNet Finance in 2008, where he was in charge of micro finance technical assistance missions. He also designed the business plan for an investment fund in India. He moved to MicroCred in January 2010.
Before joining PlaNet Finance, Arnaud de Lavalette has worked as a financial auditor with Arthur Andersen from 1996 to 2000. Beyond non recurring missions, he gained a real expertise in M&As and LBOs sectors, as well as in organizational missions. He has also a solid knowledge of the enterprise with a position as a Controlling Manager in a real estate company (2003-2005). Considering the development aspects, Arnaud has created and managed a web company from 2000 to 2003. The company has been sold to a technical partner. He also was the Procurement Manager of the already mentioned real estate company from 2005 to 2007.
Arnaud de Lavalette is graduated from EDHEC Business School (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord) and he majored in Finance at the University of Bayreuth (Germany).

Emmanuel Dorestan joined MicroCred in May 2008 in order to bring its expertise to the Operation Department of MC Sénégal. He joined the team as Commercial Manager in June and is in charge of managing the branches among others.
Prior to working with MicroCred, Emmanuel spent five years as a branch manager in a microfinance institution in Haiti. Previously, he worked as a consultant for an international organization as an agro-economist and as a private sector development officer where he developed a rural microfinance program .
Emmanuel has a degree in agro-economy with a specialization in economic and rural development from the Haitian University of Agronomy. He also holds a diploma in French accounting from the Accounting and Management Institute (ICG, Haiti).

Jérôme has joined MicroCred Madagascar last May as Chief Executive Officer in charge of Finance.
Before joining MicroCred, he was Financial Supervisor at Société Générale for more than two years where he was in charge of all financial matters for a group of companies dedicated to Equity and Index Derivatives business.
Prior to that he was Financial Coordinator for the French NGO Action contre la Faim in Sudan and in Indonesia for one year and held for 14 years various financial positions in the banking sector for the French banks Credit Lyonnais and Calyon in Europe and Asia. His last position for Calyon was regional head of Finance for South East Asia.

Gilles Robin became Chief Operations Officer of MicroCred Madagascar in June 2009.
Before joining MicroCred, Gilles has worked in Louis Dreyfus (Louis Dreyfus Commodities Metals Suisse) in Johannesburg where he was manager of the metals division in the African region. He was among others, in charge of establishing and expanding the activity of the company in non ferrous metals on the African continent and more specifically on the African copper belt, and developing commercial relationship with existing mines and local smelters.
Previously, he was Managing Director and Social Representative of Louis Dreyfus Côte d’Ivoire SA in Abidjan. He was in charge of the full company set up including setting company status (legal & Fiscal), IT, systems (accounting & Stock management), hiring staff and getting export licenses. He was also in charge of the Budget, the Management Reports and negotiations with banks. Before, he has spent 6 years in Louis Dreyfus Trading LTD in London as Coffee & Cocoa trader responsible for West & Central Africa as well as Brazil.

Ruben Dieudonné is expert in microcredit management (individual and united group). He joined MicroCred Sénégal in November 2008 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of the Commercial Development.
Ruben gained 10 years work experience in the microfinance sector, including eight years in leadership positions. He holds, among others, a position as Loan Manager in the two of the biggest MFI of Haïti. During the last three years, he was freelance Consultant in microfinance, while managing his individual company specialized in mobile phones sale.
Ruben holds a diploma in Economics from the Ouisqueya Universtiy, a private university in Haïti. In 2003, he attended to the Boulder Microfinance Training Program in Colorado (United States).
Ruben speaks fluent French, Creole, works in English and has working knowledge in Spanish.

Hervé Guyon joined MicroCred in December 2006 and was the MicroCred Madagascar Chief Financial Officer from February 207 to June 2009. Following Madagascar, he made a short term mission in MicroCred Mexico.
Hervé Guyon is a law, accounting and finance expert. From 2000 to 2006, Hervé Guyon was the Head of Legal and Tax department of the capital market division of the group Crédit Mutuel/CIC.
Hervé Guyon will join MicroCred Senegal after two years as the MicroCred Madagascar Chief Financial Officer.
Hervé Guyon is graduated of EM Lyon (a French leading business school) and of a corporate and tax laws Master of the Strasbourg Law University.

Frank Li joined MicroCred’s team in January 2007 as Chief Executive Officer for MicroCred Nanchong, MicroCred’s Chinese affiliate inaugurated in December 2007.
With 14 years of experience in different institutions in the banking sector, Frank Li is an expert in banking issues, credit and project management. Frank Li worked at the Bank of China, where he held positions of responsibility in the accounting department, the international business department as well as in the credit management department as a credit officer. Frank also successfully helped the bank avoid a loss of USD 4.84m by adjusting credit policies. Since 1999, Frank has been working as a senior officer in personal banking department and corporate banking department at China Merchants Bank—one of the most competitive banks in China. In this position he identified, evaluated and recommended business development opportunities, several of which led to successful transactions worth USD 45,400,000. In 2005, Frank Li joined Standard Chartered Bank as operations manager and played a vital role in the establishment of the Chengdu branch. He was then promoted to acting branch manager thanks to his strong leadership, management and marketing skills. He was responsible for supervising the whole branch operation for Chengdu.
Frank Li has a degree (BSc) in finance from the University of International Business and Economic of Beijing and has an MSc in economics and finance from the University of York (United Kingdom).

Fajun Wang joined MicroCred in April 2007 as Chief Financial Officer of Microcred Nanchong (China).
Fajun gained 13 years work experience in the financial sector. She is an expert in financial management and accounting system. Prior to joining MicroCred, Fajun worked for New Hope Group (one of the biggest private company group in China), Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (a U.S venture capital), Yuehua Certified Public Accountants, and Chengdu Pharmaceutical Corporation. Fajun holds two bachelor degrees from the University of Electronic and Science Technology (UESTC) and Chongqing Normal University where she majored in International trade and mathematics. She is a member of the ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and CICPA (the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants).

Mr. He is an expert in microfinance with field experiences in Sichuan, China.
Prior to joining MicroCred, Mr. He was working as a microfinance specialist with the EU-China Natural Forest Management Project in Sichuan, where he was responsible for the implementation, monitoring of the pilot microcredit scheme of the project and designing of different credit operation models.
Before his experience with the Forest Management Project, Mr He was Project Director for the Project Office of Yilong County, where he was in charge of microcredit programs’s promotion and development.

Mr. Mark-George joined MicroCred in July 2009 as Chief Executive Officer. He is a financial services professional with over 15 years of experience in venture capital, international finance, insurance and investment management.
Prior to joining Microcred, he was Country Director of GroFin, an international specialist financier and developer of small and medium enterprises and before GroFin he was Head of Financial Advisory, First Funds Limited, a wholly owned private equity / venture capital subsidiary of First Bank Plc., Nigeria. In his roles at GroFin and First Funds, Mr. Mark-George was responsible for investment risk appraisal and financial analysis of target companies and projects and worked closely with the management teams of portfolio companies to implement strategy. Prior to First Funds, Mr. Mark-George was Head of Investment Management of the Financial Advisory Services Group at Ventures & Trusts Limited, a pioneer non-bank financial services firm in Nigeria. Mr. Mark-George began his career in the insurance sector in 1992 at Lloyd’s of London and later became a Divisional Director at Willis Faber & Dumas Limited, a London based Lloyd’s broker, where he focused on international reinsurance of the firm’s Middle East / Africa book of business.

Constance Fayard is expert in administrative and financial management. She joined MicroCred Nigeria Microfinance Bank Limited in January 2009 as Chief Financial Officer.
Constance gained 7 years work experience in the NGO and associations sector. She holds, among others, several positions as Financial Administrator of famous international NGOs. Last year she was Financial Administrator Middle-East for a famous humanitarian NGO, organizing the financial management and development of 4 missions in the region. Before that she has many years of professional experience of financial management in international development programs.
Constance holds a Business school diploma in International trade from ESSCA, Business School of Angers in France, and a diploma of the Professionnal Chair of Management of Organizations of Social Economy MCA (Mutual Insurance, Cooperatives, Associations).
Constance speaks fluent French and English.

Olga Sedykh is expert in microcredit management (individual and group), rural finance, agribusiness management, small business development.
Olga has 14 years experience of working in the developing countries such as Armenia, Azerbaijan, Chechnya, Georgia, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, South Africa, Tajikistan, Uganda, and Uzbekistan in the area of economical development and poverty alleviation.
Olga holds a diploma in Education from the Chernyshevsky Saratov State University in Russia. In 2002, she attended to the Boulder Microfinance Training Program in Colorado (United States).
Olga speaks fluent English and Russian.

François-Xavier Poste integrated MicroCred in May 2008 as Chief Operations Officer of MicroCred Madagascar. He has been promoted Chief Executive Officer in July 2009 of MicroCred Côte d'Ivoire.
Before joining, MicroCred, François-Xavier acquired a part of his professional experience (15 years) in the banking sector in which he was successively in charge of Accounting Management, Control Management and Financial Management. Afterward, François-Xavier worked during 13 years in the microfinance sector in Africa as General Manager in the mutualist sector (Mucodec - Congo, Fénacoopec-RCI). He was Project manager within institutions as mutual funds for village and direct Credits in Burkina and worked on an Islamic commercial Microfinance project in the North of Mali with FIDES. François Xavier also collaborated on technical assistance for a national development program concerning financial services in which he was in charge of microfinance strategy implementation (Niger).
François Xavier is graduated of Sciences Economics and of accountability. He speaks fluently French and English.

Hervé Deffand is expert in management, finance and business development. He joined MicroCred Côte d’Ivoire in September 2009 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Finance. He will be temporarily based in Nigeria holding the position of Chief Financial Officer until the fulfillment of this position.
Hervé gained 15 years work experience mainly in the private sector, in leading worldwide oil and tobacco's companies. During his career he held position as Financial and Business Analyst, Planning Manager, Country manager and Area Manager in the West Africa region. Early in his career, Hervé participated in Côte d’Ivoire, in the implementation of the Government National Investment Funds Program for development. He developed and delivered relevant management trainings to projects owners.
Hervé holds a diploma of HEC, Montreal University business school, in Business Administration specialized in Finance and a diploma of Economics of the University of Montreal, Canada. He attended several Management, Finance, Sales & Marketing international trainings in leading training centers as MCE Brussels, Tack International London, INSEAD France.
Hervé is fluent in written and spoken French and English.
